We wanted to address you guys and let you know what we are doing during this pandemic. Firstly, we want to say thank you to all our customers for coming in and supporting us over the last few years, it means a lot to us. As a small business we are naturally concerned with everything that is happening at the moment. Our current plans are to stay open as usual until our government deems it necessary to do otherwise. We of course have put extra measures in place until that time.
As of now we will be postponing all our one-off special events such as themed quizzes, magic shows and Adventurers League. Anything that people might “miss out” on will be planned for a later date. All our smaller, regular events will go ahead as usual.
We ask that if you are feeling unwell or have any flu like symptoms that you DO NOT come to the cafe for the safety of staff and customers alike. We reserve the right to ask people to leave if we feel like they are a risk to others, so please do stay at home if you are not well.
We would like to reassure you that we are taking every precaution possible to minimise risk. Whilst we usually maintain a clean cafe we are making a concerted effort to sterilise all touch points as often as possible, such as door handles, tables, switches etc. We have hand gel and disposable gloves behind the bar that customers are welcome to use, when we can get hold of sanitising wipes, we will offer those out to people also.
Obviously, things could change in a matter of weeks, or even days, and we feel closures and self-isolation is imminent which will no doubt mean businesses such as ours will suffer. We ask that if you want to support us further without spending time here that you please consider purchasing a board game to play at home. We have put our board games on sale with anything up to 75% off. Alternatively you can or purchase a gift voucher or membership online to use at a later date.
