Ok so after a last minute Tier 4 announcement and little panic we can, once again, update you on our plans.
As of Dec 20th our play spaces are still closed as well as our retail area. We will continue to open a couple of days a week for click and collect and takeaway up until the New Year, when we will have a serious think about how our business can function in these Tiers.
Our online store will continue to operate as usual for click & collect and deliveries. We’re hoping to update the store for it to be a little easier to use soon so watch this space. Local deliveries can still arrive before Christmas so let us know if you want any last minute Christmas shopping!
Nomboxes will continue for both collection and delivery with a very special festive box this Thursday.
It has to be said that when we opened in July we were cautious in coming back, but between then and October we had found our feet again, built up what was lost to the OG lockdown and really started to feel back to some sort of normal. However since October it has just been blow after blow and Tier 4 just feels like the nail in the coffin of this year.
We’ve said it before but please do bear with us. We know we have chopped and changed a lot in these last few months, we’re just trying to figure out what is best with each new rule that comes into place. Most small businesses right now, especially in Entertainment, Hospitality and Leisure, are trying to balance keeping their business afloat and keeping staff in jobs whilst still following rules and having no income. It is no easy feat.
So for now all we can do is try for the best Christmas we can. Reach out to people this Christmas, have that Zoom chat or play that online game with someone. Hopefully 2021 can bring us more promise and we can FINALLY have that post-pandemic bash we’ve been dreaming of!
