We always recommend booking if you’re planning on coming in, especially on evenings and weekends. We always ask you to book for events, whilst some events require pre-payments that can be made online.
Our opening times are as follows:

GAMES
There are around 900 games in our board game library. To use any of the games in our library you must pay the cover charge:
£2.00 per hour, per person
There is a concession rate available for children aged 3-11, students with valid I.D., health and some government service workers with valid I.D., OAP’s, and for bringing your own game (RPGs, LCGs, CCGs, TCGs, etc.). Please ask for details.
Concession rate is a flat rate of £1 per hour, per person.
We are always adding games to our library so feel free to ask what’s new and for recommendations.

Getting Here
Watford Junction Station
10-15 minute walk:
Go left out of the station and walk passed the bus stops and head south-east down Woodford Road.
Walk all the way down the road, cross St. Johns road and take Queens Road.
Keep walking, go straight over the roundabout and d20 is on the left just passed Queens Place.
Watford High Street Station
10-15 minute walk:
Come out of the station and cross the A411, walking towards the centre of town.
Walk up Watford High Street towards and past Nandos, turn right onto Queens road after the entrance to Atria Watford.
Walk through both pedestrian tunnels and down to the end of the shops on Queens road, d20 is on the right.
Parking
Parking on Queens Road is unrestricted after 6:30pm and on Sundays, otherwise there is a pay & display, maximum stay enforced by parking officers. Please note that Queens Road is one-way and if approaching from the top of the street you will need to drive down Loates Lane and take a left onto Lord Street.
The nearest car park is Sutton – Watford, controlled by CitiPark. Check their website for latest prices and opening times.
To get from the car park to d20, head north up Eastcourt road towards The Golden Lion but stay right on Eastcourt road.
Turn right onto Cross Street and walk to the end, cross the road and take pedestrian footpath down the right-hand side of the church onto Duke street.
Turn left onto Loates Road and walk to the end, turn right onto Queens road and d20 is across the road on the left.
Car Parking is also available in the Atria shopping centre, which is a 5 minute walk from the cafe. Queens Road is accessible from the outside throughway of the Lower Mall of Watford Intu centre. Look for the signage to The Broadway, Queens Road and head under the flyover. Walk down that road and we are on the right hand side. All car parks to the centre are close by, but Queens Car Park is the closest.
Accessibility
The whole venue is on the ground floor and we have a permanent ramp for wheelchairs and buggies.
Please ask if you require assistance and someone will come and help you.
We have 2 genderless toilets, one with baby changing and the other is accessible which is more roomy and has hand rails. Both bathrooms have standard toilet seats. To get to both loos you will need to go through the lobby door which is 83cm wide. The doors to the toilet’s themselves are 74cm wide. There is a big space in the accessible toilet for wheelchair transfers.
Accompanying Personal Assistants do not pay cover charge, please let us know if that applies.
For those that need or require a little more room all our chairs are armless, sturdy and comfortable. We also have cushions for those that need them. Our chairs in the back room are a little wider so if that’s something you like then you can ask for the back room on your booking and we’ll do our best to seat you there.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed! Only well-behaved pooches please.
Age limits
Those under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at our events.
We serve alcohol on premises and operate a Look 25 policy.
Those 3 and under are not charged and there are baby changing facilities and highchairs available upon request.
