3. Amulet of Vampirism

When a monster is defeated: rotate this card 45° to increase your current and maximum health by 2.

A. Ring of Protection

When taking damage: reduce the total damage by 1 to a minimum of 1, or return this card to the monster discard to reduce the total damage to 0.

3. Cloak of Evasion

After first looting this card: select an additional card from the loot to place face-down in your inventory as an item.

2. Bottle of Smoke

After discarding at the end of a player phase: flip face-down to skip the monster phase and start a new combat round.

During a player phase: rotate 90° to roll an extra attack die.

2. Spear of Precision

When spending an attack die against durable armour: rotate 45° to change the die's attack value by 1, or rotate 90° to change it by 2.

3. Dagger of Luck

During a player phase: rotate 45° to re-roll one attack die, or flip face-down to set one attack die to any value from 1 to 6.

USE RATES

Recharging

Items rotate 45° back towards upright at the end of each monster phase, and return fully upright and face-up at the start of a rest. This gives each cost the following use rates:

Once per combat round

ROTATED 90°

Once every other combat round

LEGACY

Affinity

After winning, keep note that you gain affinity with one of the items in your inventory (the rule book has litle checkboxes to tick). In future games during setup you may shuffle up to two Affinity cards into the mentor deck, taking −5 to your starting current and maximum health per card. When drawn while dealing mentors, place them upright and face-up in your inventory as a copy of one of your Affinitied items before drawing a new Mentor card and continue dealing. You can only affinity the same item once per game, but can have a 2nd copy if you loot that item from a monster.
