WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING UP TO
A season of Riftbound
Join a Roster
Your store fields five primary players in positions A to E, plus up to five secondaries who each cover two positions.
Build The Team's Twelve
A team commits to twelve legends for the phase and brings one legal deck for each. Decks can change between fixtures but the legends stay. Four can be swapped in the first month.
Draft Legends
Each side vetoes a legend, then players draft one apiece in position order. You will not always get your best deck, but knowing how to square up is part of the game.
Play Your Counterpart
Position A plays position A: best of three, 60 minutes, three overtime rounds, high OPL. Win your seat and you hand your team a point towards the fixture.
THE GOOD BITS
Why you should join
Be Part of a Team
I don't need to tell you the benefits of being part of something bigger than yourself.
Comradery, adventure and steel on steel! The stuff of Legend.
Yearly Rivalries
I also don't need to tell you how good it feels to shove a win in your rival's face.
Sometimes the petty things are the best.
Play the Best, Be the Best
The only way to really improve at something is to push yourself. Playing against the best the other stores have to offer is giving you that chance, without having to travel to a crazy hot conference hall with no air-con in a different country (not that I'm promising air-con at every fixture).
Then at the end of it all, prove who the real Champions are.
Beyond Deck Building
Twelve legends, vetoes and legend drafting mean the team's preparation counts as much as any single list.
You'll need legend picking strategies and to know your opponents to try and figure what they might be packing.
Maybe even a trash Kennen deck as a decoy for being vetoed so you can play your real deck.
HOUSE MANNERS
Play hard, be decent
Only registered players play. Passing someone else off as a team-mate costs your team the fixture and, if repeated, its place in the championship.
Judges from both teams attend where possible; the home judge has the final say, with an appeal to the organisers if a call is made in bad faith.
Give as much notice as you can if you can't attend, especially if its a home game (where someone is travelling to play against you). Hopefully a secondary player can step in for you, but lets not waste other peoples time & travel expenses.
Stay for the cooldown. Support the other store, make friends, play some casuals.

No team at your store yet?
Ask them. Stores need 5 willing players to register, and a nudge from their regulars is usually all it takes. Season 1 starts with Radiance on 23rd October 2026.
